This website is operated by Javier Castro, doing business as Otaku Diesel. These terms apply to purchases and use of our store, together with our posted shipping, return, and privacy policies.

Purchasing

You must be legally able to enter a purchase agreement or have authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information.

Prices, currency, applicable taxes, and shipping charges are shown before checkout is completed. Payment is processed through the payment services offered at checkout.

Products and descriptions

Read the product description, measurements, material information, and application instructions before ordering. Decal sizes are stated in inches unless otherwise specified. Product listings will explain whether dimensions refer to the artwork, backing, or another measurement.

Screen settings may affect displayed colors. This does not excuse delivery of a product materially different from its description. Vehicle or installation mockups illustrate appearance; consult listed measurements for actual size.

Order errors and availability

We may contact you if an item becomes unavailable, an order cannot be fulfilled, or there is a material listing error. We will not substitute an item or charge a higher price without your agreement. If we cancel an order, we refund the amount paid for the canceled items and associated charges.

Changes and cancellations

Email otakudiesel@gmail.com immediately to request a change or cancellation. We will honor requests received before production or fulfillment begins. Once custom production has begun, a change-of-mind cancellation may no longer be available. This does not restrict cancellation or refund rights required by law.

Installation and use

Follow the instructions provided and use products only on suitable surfaces. Customers are responsible for checking product compatibility and lawful placement. Do not obstruct a driver's view, lights, license plates, sensors, or required vehicle markings.

Improper installation, unsuitable surfaces, or misuse may damage the product or surface. We remain responsible for obligations imposed by law, including remedies for defects and misleading descriptions.

Store content and third-party rights

Store materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other rights. Purchase of a physical item does not transfer intellectual property rights or permission to reproduce its artwork.

References to vehicle brands, characters, or other third-party properties do not by themselves imply endorsement or affiliation. Any licensed or authorized status must be expressly stated and accurate.

Website conduct and links

Do not use the website for fraud, unauthorized access, malicious software, or infringement. Third-party websites have their own terms and privacy practices.

Consumer rights and disputes

Contact us first if there is a problem so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or waives rights that cannot legally be excluded or waived. Applicable law determines any mandatory consumer protections and available remedies.

Updates

We may update these terms by posting a new version and effective date. Purchases remain subject to the terms disclosed when the order was placed, except where law requires otherwise.

Custom Order Policy

Custom orders are produced from the specifications agreed with the customer. Before purchasing, review the design, spelling, dimensions, color, quantity, and any proof supplied.

Where a proof is offered, production begins after approval. The quoted production timeframe will state how proof approval affects the shipment date. Revisions or specification changes may require a new quote and your approval before any extra charge.

We will correct errors we make that depart from approved specifications. Customer-approved spelling or design choices are not production defects.

Request cancellations immediately at otakudiesel@gmail.com. Custom orders may be canceled before production begins. Once production begins, change-of-mind cancellations and returns are unavailable unless we agree otherwise. Defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially misdescribed products remain eligible for an appropriate remedy.

Only submit artwork you own or have permission to reproduce. We may decline requests involving unauthorized artwork or other content we cannot lawfully produce. Approval of a custom request does not transfer intellectual property rights.

Decal Application and Care

Check the decal and instructions before application. Contact us before installing if the item appears incorrect or defective.

Apply only to a clean, dry, smooth, compatible surface under the conditions recommended for the product. Remove dirt, oils, and wax using a surface-safe method. Test compatibility where practical, especially on fresh paint, fragile finishes, or treated surfaces.

Follow the supplied installation and curing instructions. Avoid pressure washers aimed directly at decal edges, abrasive cleaners, scraping, and conditions outside the material's specified limits.

Durability depends on the material, exposure, surface, and maintenance. Any stated lifespan or warranty will appear in the specific product listing; we do not promise a universal lifespan.

Removal may affect weak, damaged, recently painted, or incompatible finishes. Use a method suitable for both the vinyl and the underlying surface.

Installation mistakes are not normally eligible for a standard return. Contact us if a material defect contributed to the problem. This policy does not limit legally required remedies.

Customer Review Policy

Where reviews are available, we welcome honest reviews about actual experiences with Otaku Diesel products and service, including critical reviews.

Reviews must not include private personal information, threats, harassment, spam, or unrelated promotional content. We may moderate content for those reasons, but do not remove or suppress reviews simply because they are negative.

“Verified purchase” labels are used only when the reviewer’s purchase has been verified. Any incentive or material relationship associated with a review must be clearly disclosed. We do not condition incentives on positive ratings.
